Nick
Green: Still Life and Concepts (UK)
As a child Nick was inspired by the work of his father – a very
good photographer who "flew by the seat of his pants"–
judged exposures by eye and then developed and printed all his shots
in a dark room. A box Brownie at school later fuelled Nick’s photographic
fire. Subsequently, Nick assisted several very busy London photographers
before setting up on his own in the 1990’s. Nick’s clients
include Starbucks, Dole Foods UK and several European fashion brands.
His work can be seen in magazines and Starbucks cafes around the UK.
Nick is always looking to find that unique angle – the one that
reveals the world around us to be both extraordinary and beautiful.
He lives and works in Maidenhead, but is often found “skulking
around London finding such angles and then running headlong for the
computer”. He works entirely on digital. He doesn’t have
a studio per se (he works at home) but hires one if required.
